Gordie’s Measure of Kindness

As we enter our second year of Gordie’s measure of kindness, we thought it would be a good time to reflect on the impact of our first year.

While we focus our acts of kindness during the month of March, which is whenGordie’s birthday is and also SUDC awareness month, many people continued to share our website and complete acts of kindness throughout the year. After one year, we have had over 1300 visitors to our site. A variety of acts of kindness have been completed, such as:

◦ buying coffees

◦ giving out cookies

◦ Donating food to various organizations

◦ Donating books to various places

◦ Donating toys

◦ Prepaying for parking

◦ Providing public skating

Just to list a few.

We would like to thank everyone who has participated in spreading Gordie’s story and raising awareness about the SUDC foundation. It provides us with comfort knowing so many people are thinking about our sweet boy and sharing his joy with others.
